UPR’s desiccant dehumidification system utilise the Munter’s patented design to remove air moisture at low temperature and humidity.
The system comprises the design of desiccant wheels to attract and retain water moisture and through its advanced energy efficiency process to achieve dry air. In the process, permitting heat rejected from the cooling cycle to reactivate the desiccant wheel. The provision of dry air at a desired temperature and dew point is particularly useful to the shipbuilding and repairing industries where dry air is needed before additional coating of paints is strayed onto the vessel structures.
UPR dehumidifier offers dry air flow at 13,000 nomical SCMH or 8,000CFM. And achieves a low drew points at -45degree F. It is about 40% more energy efficient as the reheating of the desiccant dryer is by mean of the rejected heat of the cooling unit.
