UPR owns multi-megawatts of testing capacity load banks that can be deployed for testing of turbines and large capacity generators. We have good track records of delivery with successful execution of the testing equipment to remote regions such as a cement factory in Saudi Arabia, shipyards at Dalian, Shanghai and Guangzhou in China and offshore platform that belongs to Pertamina, Indonesia and many others.
Load banks supply can be in both resistive and inductive types, depending on client’s testing requirements. A handheld controller for simple load step is made available for use in addition to the proprietary software that can be uploaded to computer for a higher demanded load. It is available to present the historical load pattern of the test in excel format or in graphical form.
UPR’s load banks come in the range of 1MVA, 3MVA and 6MVA types and the testing system can be further enhanced by interlinking this equipment up to 84MVA capacity output with the use of a single computer.
With a testing capacity of more 200MVA, it is the largest load testing base in the region.
Other applications include Load Testing of UPS, Static Transfer Switch, Standby Generator at Data Centres and buildings. It can also use to discharge battery bank.
